Welcome Home to Hoopili
Oahu's largest master-planned community — brand-new homes, open green space, and a Skyline rail station you can walk to. This is your complete, up-to-date guide to living in Hoopili: what's selling now, what it costs, and what daily life really looks like.
Hoopili is a 20-year, 1,500-acre master-planned community in Ewa Beach, built by D.R. Horton Hawaii. At build-out it will hold roughly 11,750 homes — from attainable condos to executive single-family — alongside nine parks, multiple recreation centers with pools, more than 200 acres of urban farms and gardens, new schools, and on-site shopping and dining. Its biggest advantage is location: Hoopili sits at the mauka top of the Ewa plain, right off the H-1 and Kualakai Parkway, with three of its own Skyline rail stations — so you skip the worst of the Ewa traffic and can ride the train into town.

Why Buyers Choose Hoopili
A brand-new home, not a 50-year-old one. Much of Oahu's resale stock is aging — single-wall construction, old plumbing, deferred maintenance. A Hoopili home means modern construction, energy efficiency, and a builder warranty, often at a comparable price.
Ride the rail. Hoopili is the only Oahu neighborhood with three Skyline stations — and the line is open today (more below).
The best location in Ewa. Hoopili sits at the top of the plain off the H-1 — so you skip the stop-and-go crawl down Fort Weaver Road that slows the communities deeper toward the water.
Real community. Nine parks, rec centers and pools, 200+ acres of urban agriculture, new schools, and shopping designed into the master plan.
Ride the Rail — Skyline Is Open at Hoopili
When this neighborhood was first planned, the rail was still a promise. Not anymore. Skyline — Honolulu's rail system — is open and running, and Hoopili's stations are on the line. Segments 1 and 2 now connect East Kapolei all the way to Kalihi Transit Center, with stops at UH West Oahu, the Hoopili area, Pearl Harbor, Aloha Stadium, and Daniel K. Inouye International Airport — so Hoopili residents can already ride straight to the airport without fighting H-1 traffic. The remaining segment into Kalihi, Downtown, Chinatown, and Ala Moana is under construction, which will give Hoopili a one-seat ride into the urban core in the coming years.
Hoopili's three Skyline stations:
Kualakaʻi (East Kapolei, by the Kroc Center)
Keoneʻae (UH West Oahu)
Honouliuli (Hoopili)
Every Kind of Home, One Neighborhood
No master plan on Oahu offers this much variety. Hoopili spans mid-rise and townhome-style condos (great first-home and affordable-housing options), 2–3 story townhomes and lofts, FLEX live/work homes with a ground-floor storefront or office, plantation-style and split-level single-family homes, and executive single-family on the largest lots. Many single-family plans offer an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) — a separate attached space with a kitchenette, ideal for extended family or rental income. Income-qualified buyers also have access to Honolulu affordable-housing options under the HHFDC program.
Parks, Schools & Everyday Convenience
Hoopili is built around community life: nine parks, recreation centers with pools, playgrounds, wide walking and biking paths, and a community garden, plus five planned schools and on-site retail and dining as the plan matures. And nearly everything else you need is within a five-mile radius.
